How we help:

Although our grants are often quite small, they frequently make a substantial difference to the person involved.  PAG is able to help in a number of ways, for example by giving:

  • a monthly grant to assist with living expenses
  • a contribution towards essential household furniture including white goods help to buy essential clothing
  • assistance towards the cost of essential repairs to the home that relate to safety, security and/or independent living in your home
  • a contribution towards care home fees or respite care, in partnership with other charities

If you are successful, you may apply again after one year, so long as you still meet PAG’s criteria.

We do not help with:

  • private medical fees, including prescription charges
  • vet bills or pet insurance
  • clearing debts, including mortgage repayments and/or utility bills
  • bankruptcy fees
  • purchase of electronic equipment, including personal computers, laptops or stereos
  • purchase of cars or other vehicles
  • funeral costs
  • setting up your own business
